BrandingGamingNew collaboration with the esteemed director Salvador Simó for creating a Rubber Hose-inspired short film promo titled “Tick-Tock! Let’s Dream Together!”
This promotional piece is dedicated to MiHoYo’s space fantasy role-playing video game, Honkai: Star Trail.
In pursuing visual storytelling excellence, we engaged Salvador Simó, a Goya Awards winner, and partnered with the distinguished French production service house Appetit. Together, we embarked on a creative journey and collaborated internationally with teams in China, France, Spain, and Argentina, resulting in a truly unique and visually compelling short film.
Honkai: Star Rail, the subject of our film, is a gacha game where players employ in-game currency to acquire items, obtainable through gameplay or real-world funds.
“Tick-Tock! Let’s Dream Together!” unfolds a guided exploration of the Penacony planet, a grand megastructure featuring the exquisite Hotel Reverie and our central character, “Clock Boy.”
Clock Boy, A.K.A Clockie adds a dash of style to this tour by riding his skateboard and, sometimes, riding on some pizza slices, too! A Master of Ceremony who possesses the super power skill to rewind time by turning back the key in its head.
Additionally, a psychedelic beverage advertisement within the storyline enhances the overall visual experience, characterized by 60s aesthetics and the tagline: “One bubble, your wishes shine bright; one sip, and your dreams take light!”
