Our new film with Le Cube, “About Love & Balance”, is a love letter to love itself, and the relationship dynamics that span its origins, trials, and heartfelt conclusions. Through delicate choreography and gentle intertwining of art, illustration, and animation, the film navigates us through this complex emotion.
The short also serves as the foundation and inspiration for an exhibition at Final Frontier’s Silk Gallery, exploring the delicate equilibrium between tenderness and strength through the lens of 13 graphic artists.

Final Frontier and Daniel Semanas directed and designed the 2D section of a cyberpunk music video introducing Club Media’s new virtual idol, MAIE, in collaboration with PUMA.
The 2D segment sees MAIE drop through the Earth’s atmosphere, crash land on earth, and immediately find herself on a psychedelic trip through drenched cyberpunk city streets thronging with sinister robots.
The full music video consists of a 3D and a live-action segment on either side of the 2D section. To direct the 2D, Final Frontier drafted Daniel Semanas, a director, illustrator, and comic book artist known for his futuristic street-styled characters and neon-soaked worlds.
Semanas says,
“My vision was to create an environment in the cyberpunk style, a retro-futuristic, surreal, alive, grandiose world – being careful to avoid the clichés of the genre. MAIE has just been born and been abruptly inserted into this unfamiliar world, so I wanted the look and feel of the environment to reflect her various emotions.”
We have joined our talented family at Le Cube for the creation of a short film promoting Naraka: Bladepoint’s new season ‘Echelon’, and graceful new character, Justina Gu. The film is also the latest to emerge from Final Frontier’s Entertainment division.
Naraka: Bladepoint is a battle royale PC game from 24 Entertainment under technology company NetEase. Taking place against the backdrop of the battle between two ancient gods, the game tells the story of heroes coming to the legendary Morus Isle to compete for the immortal mask.
Animated in Le Cube’s signature dynamic style and fluid transitions, the action is reminiscent of anime, but choreographed with the moves and sequences distinct to Wuxia-style sword-craft. Wuxia is a term to describe all Chinese Ancient martial arts, as well as Taoism and life forces, such as Qi.
Set amid a snow blizzard on Kunlun Mountain, the narrative centres on a ferocious duel between lifelong rival blade masters, Justina Gu and Viper Ning. The pair exchange blows and curses, intercut with flashbacks to scenes from their complex history. As the drama escalates, we meet a mysterious third character, Wuchen, and learn that he too has a stake in this deadly game.
Final Frontier executive producer Chris Colman says,
“The client provided comprehensive background info on the characters and the world, and our job was to craft a story that would hint at the complexity of each character’s story, not be too literal, just drop juicy teasers to entice players to go and dig deeper into the back story.”
Niceshit teamed up with their good friends and killer brewers at Gross to create this crazy, adrenaline-fueled film along with a signature studio craft beer.
Inspired by their independent, punky-rebel essence, the team wrote this rollercoaster ride of a story, a nonstop persecution of this police dog in the endless chase for at least one last drop of this juicy, refreshing hazy IPA.
Final Frontier Europe and McCann Madrid produced an intergalactic launch film for the Movistar & Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. The multi-styled direction is brought to the mix by Le Cube, who took the idea of playing anywhere you want, and however you like, to colorful proportions.
“I’ve always been attracted to projects that mix styles and aesthetics, so it was such a great fit to have a concept that not only allowed for this approach but actually pretty much asked for it”, explains Ralph Karam, Le Cube’s Creative Director.
On the collaboration with agency McCann Madrid, Juan Manuel Freire, Le Cube, and the project’s Executive Producer, says that “we had a great connection and synergy from the start. It’s a much smoother ride when the whole team comes together around a creative idea and does its best to takes it to the next level. We couldn’t be happier with the results”.
The launch film was created for the Spanish market and airs both on television and Movistar’s on-demand platform.
